A matter of Time (3)

Before even checking the suitability of time let's first check from where did time origin. where is the second defined and when we actually started talking about time. Time came into picture when man wanted understand the implication of movements and changes.. The interesting question posed by sudarshan is whether time is relative or obsolute... Well my opinion on this is time intervals are absolute but time is relative..... Then next question will what happens if we cross speed of light... the honest answer i have we won't know bcos we don't visualise beyond the speed of light. bcos we see things at the speed of light..there could be objects passing right besides us passing faster than speed of light .... If light is relative then time intervals are absolute then how come if we travel at the speed we can move back in time.... The whole point is nobody tried it... If we travel beyond the speed of light the system cordinates based on which we measure it will change. we are measuring the static part of a dynamic universe. your theories will hold good if you are static.. but you start acting as dynamic as the universe then there is possibility that you can visualise the dynamic co ordinates of the system ( Not the 3D system, but the system for which we are trying to find the dimensions) ... this is more like we are staying at one place and seeing a moving vehicle we see it moving faster but if we move as fast as the other guy then we see he is static with respect to our coordinates.... and we get different picture.. This is a naive example but when we deal with universe the possible dimension is beyond what is possible to be mensioned in 3D.. the other dimensions are not visualisable to in the 3D space.... So time can it be a single dimension or time along with some other things be called as a dimension..... anyways i will update my thoughts as get it.....

The Search continues....
( for continuation please go through the previous article )

Ok... now where to search the other dimensions .... Could time be other dimension... If we have time is a dimension then what it means we can easily travel across time ... then existence of negative mass can be prove ( Just to explain the back ground according to eistein's equation mass of any body travelling at velocity v is given by : m = m(0) /sqrt( 1- v^2/c^2) , where m(0) is the mass of body at zero velocity , c is speed of light . The equation implies that when a body goes at a speed close to speed of light it's mass will be infinity, the only problem wth this eqn is if a body goes at a speed greater than speed of light the sqrt term will be negative... the mass denoted by it is called negative mass) ...If time time is another dimension then there is a possibility that we could have the range of time as negative infinity to positive infinity .... If that is true then we could exit the universe and reenter it at different point of time... probably this is the inspiration for time machine.... Then obvious question what does it have to do with negative mass ..... This could be a little tricky to explain.... In a normal 3D space the distance between the any two points (say x1,y1,z1 and x2,y2,z2) is given by sqrt( (x1-x2)^2+...)... this is the general convention ... now time is another dimension which gets add to this ... How do we add this.... time is not dimensionaly same all the other points... then some kind of transformation have to be done to make it possible to add to quadratic algebra... what if we are not analysing it in the usual 3D quadratic algebra and time does not share a quadratic relationship with distance..... This will lead to a different relationship...the argument is compelling for further exploration... so should we analyse in the same way as we do in normal world....

Where Will I Go ??.....

I always wondered what will happen if there is no gravity and and i jump from the end of the earth... Will i reach the end of the Universe... If yes then what is there beyond the end and if no then where is the end.... Probably one question which scientists are trying to answer.. This could be the precise we have a great repect for infinity in maths... We haven't really thought big enough to comprehend infinity.. probably when mankind starts comprehending the power of inifinity we will understand we are mere part of the universe which approximates to zero... Ancient indians would have known about this that's why they invented zero...
Coming back to infinity... is it really incomprehendable or we made our selves complex enough to understand the simplicity of infinity. .. Just to make things complex if construct a 3D coordinate system at inifinity then infinity is at zero and zero will become infinity..... We always think three dimentionally and interpret the world which is not 3D... then this means do we have some other dimensions... if you ask me i will say yes... If i add that dimension then infinity will not be infinity ... we won't have to get struck up at infinity. If we can find the additional dimension/s we can change the way we look at infinity i think then we are close to finding a solution to the problem where does universe end.... we will know unverse does not have an entrance or exit. we keep spiralling with in the universe and when we think we are exiting we will actually be entering into the universe from a different end into a totally different dimensions and different orientations..... so where can i find the dimensions.... ????
